Naxal couple Vasu and Sharada move to a hill village to raise their daughter, Rani. When Rani sees tobacco being used at school, she reports it to the police, leading to the arrest of those involved. One day, Rani goes missing, and it is revealed that she was kidnapped by Selvan, the son of a man Vasu had killed. However, Chettiar's wife confesses that she was the one who killed her husband. Vasu and Sharada eventually rescue Rani and take her away.
