Trivia:
Nokkethadhoorathu Kannum Nattu was the debut film of Nadhiya and the comeback film of yesteryear actress Padmini onscreen.

This film marks the film debut of director duo Siddique-Lal, who had worked as assistant directors for this film.

This film met with critical acclaim, and won the award for Best Film with Popular Appeal and Aesthetic Value at the Kerala State Film Awards.

A tamil remake was made by Fazil himself as 'Poove Poochooda Vaa', in which Nadia Moidu and Padmini reprised their roles, but Mohanlal was replaced by S. V. Shekhar and was also remade in Telugu as 'Muddula Manavaralu'.
