Horus has both his eyes torn out, but has one restored to him. In Egyptian mythology he had only one eye torn out.

The Serpentine creature featured in the trailer is most likely Apep, also called Apophis, an Egyptian deity of chaos that is usually depicted as a snake in Egyptian art and hieroglyphs.
