Trivia:
Actor Deepak Tijori returned to big screen as an actor after 8 years. He was last seen in 'Popcorn Khao! Mast Ho Jao', after which he ventured into film directing.

The Indian censor board cut a song from the film about the police department which the censor board asked to be deleted. The song about the workings of the police department goes, "Laal batti aati hai, sab ki phat jaati hai, Mumbai police hai sab ka bhai." Mr J. P. Singh the Regional Officer, CBFC Mumbai, commented the song had to removed because it was defamatory to the Mumbai police force.

First Bollywood film using the 5D technology, eight Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera's were used. One of the eight 5D cameras (each costing Rs 1.5 lakh) went missing. It was stolen from Essel Studios, Chembur.

Towards the post production, the director 'Ram Gopal Verma' expressed his dislike for Sanjay Dutt, saying he was forced by him to replace the original actress Kangana Ranaut with Anjana Sukhani, and also how Dutt constantly cornered him to change the screenplay of the film.

The song "Thodi Si Jo Pi Li Hai" is a tribute to Amitabh Bachchan's classic song in Namak Halaal, the only difference was the original song was shot with Amitabh Bachchan and this was shot with Sanjay Dutt after 25 years.

It was rumored Naseeruddin Shah was to essay a key role, and his character would be revealed in the climax of the film. Only his hands, feet, eyes and his deep baritone voice will be seen and heard by the viewers.

Deepak Tijori makes his comeback in this film after an 8 year hiatus.
